SYP
Gauge syphon are used to protect pressure gauges against process fluid pulsations and to prevent overheating.
COOLING SYPHON
The syphon is directly connected to the pressure gauge connection or to the shut-off valve or cock below the gauge. A condensate collects in the syphon and prevents the entry of hot fluid into the pressure gauge.
